About this painting
'Painting is poetry to Ruth. This composition was inspired by the
school's Wetland Garden where the artist works. She passed by this wetland garden everyday and every time there were little birds, a little breeze tickling the moving grass, foliage and ripples on the small patches of water which was sometimes muddy and sometimes clear. The visible had been in her mind and then on Teacher's Day, she painted this picture to celebrate the wetlands joy and beauty that the artist enjoyed everyday.

What Did You See in the Painting?
Surprisingly the seniors people who viewed the painting, each saw many different and similar creatures moving about in the painting. Their imagination was stimulated and they took time to look at it in detail. What a joy to hear such interactions and visions! I had not drawn or painted any creatures in it. The shapes just resembled animal forms! So tell me what you see! Wish you could see the original painting in the artist's home studio!
